hi, I am new in honda-tech, hope you guys can help me. I have a h22a stock internals (stock pistons,rods,cams) and want to know: how much pound of boost can it handle, and like how many hp should I get from it. I have, 1000cc injectors, tial blow off, turbo smart 38mm wastegate,gt35bb .82 turbo.

7 psi on a t3/t04e or aprox 300whp. rings lands prone to failing after that.

Odd.... because I know a ton of people including myself pushing over 340hp and my ring lands are holding strong.

If you have an efficient setup (NOT a log manifold) with low backpressure, there is no reason you cant run mid 300whp reliably.

It's not odd. I said they are prone to failing after 300 whp. I didn't say they will. Everyones setup, tune, engine is different. Some will hold 380whp fine, and some will only hold 315whp and pop 8 months down the road.

Also, he didn't state it was a daily or not. I would not run anything over 300whp on a stock h22 if it is a daily. If it is a garage *****, that is a different story.

If you daily it, baby it and get on it every now and then, whats the difference ? Its all in the tune and setup an the health of the motor, I drove my on the street in stop an go traffic and also beat the **** out of it at the track, never saw any signs the bottom end was going.

I wouldn't say the ring lands are prone to failing, I'd more so say that after 300hp the setup isn't as reliable as a stock motor, but if its tuned right and the turbo setup is pieces together well, 300hp and above is safe.

ive seen two h22s on 500whp stock with quality parts and fuel

I made over 400 with stock internals. But that 38mm ws probably wont let you go low enough with that gt35.82. You will make over 300 on 10psi but the wastegate isnt gonna go that low. Ask me how I know..........Lol

So, I know what a gt35 tubo is, but not too sure what the .82 is for? Is that for the a/r? Is that referring to the hot side or the intake side?
