.......great start
Here's why:
eagle h-beam rods
je pistons- oversize bore .10 w/ 9:1 compression
dsm 550 injectors I'd personally go with RC/precision injectors - but i guess
walbro 255 fuel pump
hondata s300 GREAT choice!!!!
phantom grip valvetrain set never heard of them - hopefully they're good
crower stage 2 turbo cams get cam gears with them
precision sc34 turbo could chose something better especially since you're building the bottom end
2.25 hot side piping
2.5 cold side piping
revhard intercooler
turbosmart 32mm wastegate Too small
greddy type rs bov
3" exhaust
aebs or arp head studs
oem honda bearings
h23 tranny why??
spec stage 3+ clutch
obx manifold hahaha

thanks in advance

Be careful with that website - they 'lose' a lot of orders, including one of mine - and another guys. Make sure you talk to them before hand because they don't add shipping costs when you order (which is stupid). But i'm going with the goldseries pistons myself. Good luck man.

i just did a search and used that for a reference, i order all my parts through a local shop at "cost" and will just tell them to respecify which pistons, i think he thought i planned on resleeving the block. it would be nice but i just want to build a nice 7-10 psi daily driver!

should that setup be adequate for an occasional 10 psi?

also what is everyone's opinions on head studs? aebs or arp

man that setup is great for 10psi - you could run more if you wanted.

The only thing weak about the H series engines are the stock pistons. The crank comes forged from factory. So, just change the pistons and rods and you should be good to go. I was thinking about doing just 10psi on my setup, but i'm going with a little smaller turbo - so i might have to do ~12 or so.

I have the ARP headstuds. Got 'em for cheap.

Are you getting a discount on the pistons from the dealer?

you will stil need to do a slight (and i mean SLIGHT) overbore even with the mahles. check out the new issue of Honda Tuning theres a tech article about upgrading the H22 rotating assembly without having to use aftermarket sleaves

i see what you are talking about, there is a debate about not being able to re-hone the h22 cylinder walls, so now im just debating on wether or not to go with the .25 overbore...but with the mahle i can run the stock bore and that will keep me from hopefully having to rehone

ok...so we called je and they said due to the frm cylinder you can not bore the sleeve, thats why they reccomend using aftermarket sleeves...BUT they have recently developed a piston ring that will work with the frm sleeves!! but it takes about 2 weeks to make it after ordering it through je...so you can either use the mahle with the rings they developed or je has options for anyone who wants to run the stock sleeves with the aftermarket pistons!

je pistons- oversize bore .10 w/ 9:1 compression...sleeves.. either go with the mahle gold lines now, or wait a little and get teh weisco drop ins when/if they come out..that's what i'm doin
dsm 550 injectors just get some 1000cc injectors and be done with them
walbro 255 fuel pumpmake sure you get the HP
hondata s300WASTE OF MONEY...go with crome, it's cheaper and just as powerful and just as user friendly
phantom grip valvetrain setditch that and get RM stuff...they're proven
crower stage 2 turbo camsWASTE of money, stock cams will make more power for you, i assure you
precision sc34 turbo too small...serioulsy, bump it up to at least a .82a/r 60-1...you'll still see good spool..but you'll have less back pressure to deal with and more turbo
2.25 hot side piping
2.5 cold side piping
revhard intercoolergo ebay, they're larger and just as good of a core..but cheaper
turbosmart 32mm wastegatemight wanna take one step up from that...to at least a 38mm gate from tial...or possibly wait for the new 41mm gate to be released
greddy type rs bov
3" exhaust
aebs or arp head studs
oem honda bearings OE honda bearings suck in performance situations...i'd advise going another route..king possibly
h23 tranny while you SHOULD be using a B-series tranny..haha, i'd advise going with a JDM LSD h22 tranny...
spec stage 3+ clutch
obx manifoldintake or exhaust? we've got an intake on the way to test with
thanks in advance</TD></TR></TABLE>

thats not the article im refering to, i just got the issue in the mail so im not sure if its on store shelves yet. but basicaly it revolves arount the fact that you cant overbore H22 cylinders at least by normal standards. but you can do a .25 overbore (which is miniscule) but enough to clean up the bores for the mahle pistons. if i can find the article online ill post a link.
