H22 18g full throttle power loss
I have the greddy kit on my lude and at partial throttle ( 80%,5psi) if feels OK, but as soon as I floor it the power dies a quick death. If I keep the peddle floored I get a sparatic power increases. I can hear the wastgate opening fully. It jars from having power to no power, especially in vtec. I suspect that the crappy internal wastgate is the cause and I will be converting to external but I am wondering if something else is the adding to the problem. I am using zex plugs, running 7psi right now. I am thinking about trying out those grouding kits as well. I have a full MSD ignition setup.
Any input is welcome.

Re: H22 18g full throttle power loss (..God..)
Boost is fairly steady at full throttle. It fluctuates very slightly but still hold around 7-8psi. How can it be the MSD box? It worked fine in vtec before a put the turbo on.

Have you had the set-up tuned yet? Do you know what the air/fuel ratio is under boost? Did you gap your plugs to .028-.030"?

No it's not dyno tuned yet. Street-tune, yes. I'm running Hondata s200B with a PLX M300 wideband. RC 550 injectors. A/F is 11.5-12 so that's not it either. It's got to be the crappy internal wastegate and/or the plugs. THe plugs are some Zex plugs that i ran my nitrous set-up with. You can hear the exhaust get much louder but the power just falls right on it's face. BUt my boost guage still reads boost.

I seriously doubt your plugs are the problem. Get it tuned, a/f is only HALF of the job.
Are you sure boost isn't falling off above 5k rpm? I've seen this happen with the Greddy kit. A friend of mine overcame this issue by sourcing the vac line for the wastegate shortly after the turbo, rather than post throttle body. It took a bit longer to spool, but it held pressure all the way up to 8k.

I think the answer is there , Dont assume they are ok...check the gap.
