H.P. Limits of b18c1 w/... ?
What are the horspower limits of a b18c1 w/
*cometic .054in thick h/g (lowers compression to about 9.4:1 in stock b18c1)
*ARP head studs
*hondata s200b
*msd 6al
*endyn catch tank/breather
*70mm tb/skunk2 port matched im
*STOCK INTERNALS
*60k miles on motor
*peakboost kit
I know this seams like a ghetto way of making more power, but I'm a poor college student, and I'd rather spend money on a good tune and a good turbo kit then on forged internalls.
I searched to no avail (not for this setup). TYIA
PS: Would a blockguard be worth it with a setup like this? I wanted to keep it simple... Not looking for huge numbers, just something fast.

Saving my pennies (not going to afford this till after summer). I dunno what i am going to do yet. I just wanted to know what power I could make with this setup.
Do I know you?

Dont buy that stuff, for that price you can get a set of forged pistons, thats always been the weakest link in any of my stock honda parts. second weakest is rod bolts or rods.

Thanx for the suggestion bro - the IM/TB/ignition are already on the car. So only thing I have yet to buy would be the endyn breather. I wanted to stay away from any internals, because I won't have the money for labor...

Re: (631 Teggy)
ok I see, good luck with you project, If I were doing it i would run low boost and install the headstuds and headgasket later with forged rods and pistons. I saw someone selling a set of used JE rods + eagles for less than $500(in the FI classified). I used a drill hone and installed mine myself and have perect compression and bearing clearance.
Before you buy the enydne breather, at least read the good 'crankcase evacuation' thread. your stock PCV system should be fine for now. spend the money on tuning and injectors

Re: H.P. Limits of b18c1 w/... ? (631 Teggy)
So what horspower is safe on this setup? What size injectors for this setup? 310, 440, 550, 650? I was thinking 440cc would be sufficient for about 290 - 300whp... TYIA

440's or 450's should be fine. If you want to build up the motor and push more power later on down the road then you may want to look into larger injectors than that.

true- run atleast 550's cause 300 whp would bring 440 cc's up to atleast 80% duty cycle at 8000 rpm, would have no room for more hp. dont forget about a fuel pump. get a walbro 255 lph for the power you are looking for
