well im goin turbo on my b18c1, and i can only afford pistons and headgasket. i dont know which brands to get but i wanna see 300whp. thats all. how much boost can i throw at this setup with 9:1 compression slugs? this is with the revhard kit.
please, any suggestions on products and ballpark knowledge is appreciated. thanks!

 

I have ballpark knowledge.......I say 1 bar. If you building the motor and have good tuning the sky is almost the limit.

 

don't spend teh money you have on just pistons...just boost the stock motor and save up for a full build, my hp #'s are in my sig, stock internal b16a, you could easily do 300whp wiht a stock gsr.

 

well see, i have a chance to build my motor in january and i only have enough or a turbo kit and a couple internal upgrades. i figured pistons and headgasket would be best.... 300whp would be my goal. so you guys think it could do 12-14 psi?

I would wait and do pistons/rods at the same time, no point in doing things half assed. And you can do 12-14 on the stock motor, i run 1 bar (14.7psi) on my stock engine...with a 60 trim t3/to4e
