Default Guys running t4's...

In first gear, what boost pressure do you usually hit? Give a brief overview your set-up as well as a/r sizing and amount of boost you run.

Correct me if I'm wrong, and I'm not running a T4, but would'nt you hit the same amount of boost in 1st gear as any other. (I'm a noob looking to learn..and I only run 7psi, so I hit 7psi long before I reach redline on my 15g)

Not exactly...at least in my case (SC50 on a ZC) the revs would climb so fast, that the turbo doesn't have enough time to fully spool.

I hit like 7psi in first, and then a full 10 in all the other gears...(This is a large part to why larger turbos are good for traction).

Yep, I am not hitting full boost in first gear either. I reach redline VERY fast... On my other t3 set-up I used to have all I did is spin in first through third gear. I still spin, but it's not as bad.

I get maybe 3-4 pounds in 1st. It simple goes by way too fast, especially with a SI/ITR tranny or the like.
