No Boost????
On my last past yesterday, i had NO boost. its a built d16z6 running a t3/to4e revving to 9k. I noticed on my next to last run my boost was falling a bit like down to 9 psi then to 7 in high gear. Then i did another run and got no positive pressure what so ever and let off as soon as i got in 2nd. checked everything and no leaks or anything. You cant even hear the turbo spool what so ever. there are no mani cracks or leaks and today i took the filter off and the compressor spins once you rev the engine a bit. bov releases pressure even with no load. there are no leaks or anything. i am quite perplexed. any suggestions??
oh and i ran a best of 12.6 at 107. i couldnt get it into 2nd, all my syncors are gone. i need a new tranny. i am not happy with the time. i was running around 15psi

check your turbo and see if it even spins anymore

yes thats a highly likely possibility as well

i checked the turbo and its still spins REAL nice. no play or anything. It doesnt shound like the WG is open and i cant feel any gases coming out the dp. i'll pull the dp tonight and stick my finger in and see if the valve is up. i am real confused here guys......

internally gated turbo or external? If internal most likely it is the wg stuck open I had that problem as well. If it's even cracked op and not closed flush you won't make any boost really.
thanks for all the help guys. its an internally gated wg that is block off, but apparently it wiggled itself loose. and just started bypassing the turbine. glad thats all it was.
