DOnt know if it's just my setup, but my JG IM seems to be way hotter than normal even at idle when I touch it.. Its so hot that you can't even keep ur hands on it more than 1 sec w/o out getting a burn..

when i used to have the stock GSR IM, it wasn't as hot and I could touch it a lot longer w/o getting burned..

Keep in mind, the car has been tuned and the tuner said it was unusual for it to be that hot..

"m just running an SC61/Inlinepro IM, sleeved gsr to 84 mm w/ 9:1 comp pistons.. etc..

I"m plannin on getting the hondata gasket, but i think it may not help me much.

I should also mention, that initially, i had forgotten to tighten the IAT sensor on the IM and when I noticed it, the tip of the sensor had melted because it had been touching the IM and the heat had literally melted it beyond hope... THat's how hot my IM was...

any help and suggestion would be helpful.. thanks..

 

Take your turbo off and sell it to me. It should make that engine bay a hell of a lot cooler =D
