Default gt30r .82 a/r pump gas?

ive searched on here and on jeff's site...but am wondering

most of the 500 + hp pulls ive seen with a .82 a/r gt30r are on c16 or some sort of race fuel.

can anyone definently state that the 30r in this configuration can do 500's on pump gas with moderate head worK?

TIA

On 18psi and pump gas (94 octane)... My setup did 475 whp and it was an accident!!! Immediately following we made changes to run less boost on pump gas, so I would say it is very possible to hit 500 on pump gas but why would you want to risk it when you could just use a little more expensive petro to give a little peace of mind???

im running a gt28rs .82 and absolutely love it. once i get another car, we're talking like 2-3 years i want to do a nasty build on my gsr. and i want to make 500 on pump gas...thats just what my goal is, call it stupid or whatever...

anyway, you think it could do it full tilt?

Although possible, 500+ on pump is not my cup of tea, if I need the unusable 500+ on the street I'll up the octane. Good luck though.

That thing is wheezing as much as it can at 550 WHP, and I don't really consider running a turbo at 90% of it's max potential on pump gas to be awfully safe.

I concur, I forgot to mention that pushing the turbo that far is damn near if not out of its efficiency range.
