Is the Gt3076R too much for my build??
Well here is what my build consists of:
LsVtec turbo
B16A2 head
supertech valvetrain:
oversized valves
titanium retainers
springs
Vic X IM
ARP headbolts
B18A1 block
LS crank
CP pistons 81.5mm(stock sleeves)
Eagle rods
ARP rod bolts
ACL bearings
ARP main bolts
OEM flywheel
OEM pulley
future parts list:
Moroso OP
HOndatas300
P28 ECU
BDL 70 TB
RC's 750
Hondata IM gasket
yada yada yada
about to buy REALLY soon:
Turbo:
Gt3076R
SP mani
SP Dp
Sp Dt
precision 600hp IC
I have been thinking of getting the SC-34 turbo but I am undecided. If the GT30R turbo is too much for my build I will consider the SC-34. I am willing to spend the EXTRA $$$ on the GT3076R only if I can use it for my build with it being safe for my build. I understand that tuning is the major factor but if this turbo considering my build is TOO much, I will consider other alternatives. Thanks in advance for the input, I hope I have included enough info.
BTW my power goal is 400-500HP
Thanks,
-Dan

you sir chose what i consider the best street turbo for sub 2L Honda applications. Its worth every cent. I suspect you will have to guzzle some race juice to get that 500whp. 400whp+ daily on pump is completely doable on that turbo. Go with the .82 AR turbine.
