gt3071 good for stock b18b?
Okay I have a stock b18b right now. I want this turbo (garrett gt3071r) because of its quick spool up. Is this good or is it too big. I plan on doing about 250-275whp on this block (8k miles on it) and about 350-400+whp on a built block later. I dont want to go small now and have to buy a new turbo for the built block.

Mine's not installed yet.
I *think* that it is not as good for top end numbers, but a better "street" turbo. We'll see.

you might want to check out the GT28RS w/ a t3 turbine. There should be a couple of dyno comparisons in the archives

when will this occur...you def got to let me know how it is when you do...im mainly going for quick spool up but at the same time i dont want it to be like a small *** turbo ......i was also just makin sure that it wasnt too big for a stock ls motor
