b18b turbo?
i have a few question about engine build for turbo
plan on building my b18b bottom end up with forged wiesco and eagle rod. running around 9.8 to 1.
will stock block able to bore to 20over? thats 81.5mm right?
i also want to run about 14lbs boost (tuned of cuz)
will the stock sleeve still able to hold with block guard installed, i just wonder since the block been bored out?
i will resleeve another engine but it be around 8months before i can afford sleeving. thx

dont even bother with the block guard.
why 14 psi, where did u get that number from? to do it properly you need an aftermarket map sensor and to get tuned for it.

plan on using aftermarket map sensor, of cuz get it tune.
so far for the 14lb, i heard b18 can only take up to 16lb. so i was thinking 14 for the safe side.
ok, lets just try this then.
i got a integra ls. got a drag turbo kit.
i'll have 2800 to use in september and 3000 to use around feb.
if u in my situation, what would u do on build?

dont need the block guard. i would throw in some arp head studs. people run like 18-20psi on stock b18b's with arps to avoid headlift frequently. like someone said above me theres a thread on here about boosted b18b's that can answer every question u could have as well as show u alot of setups for reference.

To the OP, always set a horsepower goal, not a psi goal. Your tuner will use whatever psi your setup will give him to make that goal. And don't bother with the block guard. What will be the purpose of the car? Drag? Daily? Both?
