Default GSR turbo the T3 burner?

I was just in a discussion about how a t3 47 trim is too small for a GSR. I heard it said that the high revving vtec motor will actually burn the t3 fairly quickly. How accurate is this guys? thanks

This all depends on what you're trying to accomplish here. Just saying its bad is a matter of perspective. Are you trying to get a certain Torque at a certain rpm? Or are you trying to be the standard norm of about 250-300whp? If the latter is the case, then yes, it is rather made for building torque at a lower rpm band, not for all around use where it can effectively use the the 2nd set of lobes and good flowing VTEC head..
