Default GSR turbo questions

do you think i could get at least 400whp out of a gsr block with just new pistons/rods without re-sleeving the block? ive heard of ppl getting 300whp on a completely stock gsr motor, but with new pistons/rods u think i could achieve 400whp safely with the stock sleeves?

I don't think so. You need to re-enforce your cylinder walls.....sleeve them if your going to push that kind of horse power.

With a good tune it is *Possible*, but why create the risk? The sleeves are a great insurance policy in case that "perfect tune" isn't available in your area for your budget.

400whp is no problem on stock sleeves, just make sure your tuner is tight!
