gsr pistons VS. Ls pistons
I am in the process of turboing my B16A. I have a thick head gasket and a block guard but i want to run about 10 to 12 psi. I heard that LS pistons were the way to go, but one of my buddies just told me he had some GSR's and that they would be better?????? I NEED HELP?????

Re: gsr pistons VS. Ls pistons (CANTFAZZDISCHIT)
ls will have lower cr
and the gsr will have higher cr.
its hard to say, because you have a thicker headgasket but 10-12psi is about max on a stock gsr.
the grs's will be faster but more risky.
the ls will be slower but safer.
i would go with the ls.
and the gsr will have higher cr.

Re: gsr pistons VS. Ls pistons (envision2teg)
What rods are you using.. if you're using an LS crank and rods also the r/s ratio will be different and put more stress on the cylinder walls.. so although there will be a lower CR to avoid detonation, the stress on the cylinder walls will be greater..
