GSR on boost question
Your friend is asking a pretty open-ended question; realistically it cannot be answered. I could assume so much from your question. I am sure your intentions are to help your friend but the biggest assumption I am making is that your friend should not be boosting if he can not ask his own questions. Boosting is a responsibility. With that said, he can make decent power with a stock engine; but there are so many factors that it is not even funny.
I am not even sure what direction to point your friend in but the FAQ section is always a great spot to start. Read, read, read, read, read, and when he has scoured the internet of everything boost related re-read everything 100 times.
Here's some great reference.

I usually don't like Telling people to search, but it's been covered so much that almost any question related to boosting a gsr has been asked time and time again. Like others have said, read, read, read, and then if you are unclear about something, ask a specific question about what your confused about. Also, make sure you give as much info as you can when asking a question, as it will be easier for someone to give you an answer. Simply asking "how much power xxx will make" is usually not enough to give any type of accurate answer as so much stuff is dependant on one another. For example, one turbo may make xxx power with one mani, and xxx with another. Take care.
