Default GSR Block with LS rods, crank and piston on Boost application

It is time for me to start my boost application. I just sold my B16 block, so I have the head left over. I want to buy a GSR block and use LS internals to achive a 1.9 displacement. After building the block I am putting on my B16 head to have Vtec. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this setup. I have a t3/t4 turbo setup. Should I just build the LS complete with no GSR block? How is this set up going to handle high Rev's(8200)?

FYI... I am going to be using Eagle rods, SRP pistons, and Race engineering block guard.
