well today i pulled my charge pipe off to paint it and after i was done i put it back together and everything seemed ok. i went to take it for a ride to see if it was ok. but the bov wasnt working right then i remember i forgot to hook the vacuum line back up. so i pulled over and fixed it. but now when i go to blow off it like starts to sound like...i dunno its weird. like it starts off for half a sec like you put your lips together n blow (how it like farts kinda) then it sounds like just air. i know some people might say tighten the spring but the thing on top to tighten it is broken so i just have a screw screwed in there. the vacuum line goes on the top one right? ne thing else you guys think i should check?

 

Damn My type s seems to be doing the same thing. My Screw/Bolt is almost all the way down.

what do i do with te nipple on the side?

 

if it sounds like blowing air when your lips are together, that is compressor surge.
Try loosening the bov.

 

i think if ound out what it is. i have 4 things Ted off the FPR and that isnt a very strong vacuum source. im gonna move it to another spot n see what happens.
