Default greddy type r bov

i like the sound of the type r but my friends say it wont work cuz of the stiff spring, if i get the standard spring for it wil it blow off with 7lbs?

normally i see that bov in high horsepower apps. 7 psi might be too little for that stiff spring, im not sure if they make a standard spring for it

The Greddy type s is good for low boost though it tends to leak when you start pushing upwards of 16+ psi.

I ran a Type R with 1 bar spring on my 8~11psi setup for a year without any problems but I did take it apart and apply white lithium since it sat for 6 months before being used. You can also order an "S" spring for the Type R BOV. Also a lot of my RB26DETT and RX-7 friends have used the Type R without any problems when boosting past 18psi. I am NOT talking about 1 or 2 people either!!
