I have a dual overhead engine and im running the greddy tdo5h 18g. my vac is at -20hg and i think max boost is around 7-8 psi. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with the Greddy type rs bov? I did the single spring mod to it and removed the smaller spring because i wasnt able to get it to blow off. now that i removed the smaller spring i could get it to make a solid whooosh after 5psi but anything under it would "chatter/flutter." I was wondering if anyone has ever ran the smaller spring alone?

where is your vac source coming from? i had similar issues but resolved it when i ran my vac line from the manifold

Do as said and have a good vac. source for it. If that doesn't fix it adjust the screw on the top. It's too tight.

Thanks for the feedback. I have it tee'd off right there. i originally had it tee'd at the fuel pressure regulator but im using that for the boost gauge now. i wanted to use a vac that was bigger. i have did the single smaller spring mod and have it adjusted to soft about 4 full turns hard after the thread of the adjuster touches the bov. it blows off no problem even at 1-2psi but i still get the "surge/chatter/flutter" anywhere in the "0-/Hg/vac." is it normal? i have an internal wastegate, does that need to be adjusted by chance?

have you tried adjusting it with the bolt thats on top?

i have. its only screwed in 4 full turn from being off. i dont know if i should go any less. 4 turns towards soft and the adjuster bolt is going to be off.

plus thats not the greatest vacuum source. you really need to move it

any recommendations? i dont have much options on my manifold. i dont really want to tap a new hole because then i'd have to remove the manifold, etc. i was thinkin about the brake booster, but i cant find a tee that will fit in that thing.
