Default Greddy TD-05H 18G - what’s it worth?

Need some solid advice as to what this kit is worth. Picked it up as with a car. Supposedly has less than 5k on it. This is a kit for B16A’s. I really don’t plan on boosting, so was curious what a fair price is for it. Thanks for your input in advance!

Good "starter" kit to get you in the 200whp range with the appropriate supporting mods, of course. If you're looking to price it to sell, used, this kit would be fairly priced at 900 or so.

I made over 300whp back in 2001 with that kit on the Integra GS-R. WONDERFUL kit, if you possess a reasonably complete one.

GReddy kits never included a BOV with their kits, due to C.A.R.B emissions. You bought one separately. The intercooler were also a separately paid option. I had an HKS SSQV v1 in my kit.

Yes. Depending upon how old you are now. But that's all relative. I've had a turbocharged Honda of some sort since '99. Still kept it as a collector's item in its own little display.

In car terms, that's ages ago. As for me, I hit the big four oh in a tad under 2 weeks.
As for the HKS.. I've contemplated a switch myself. I've always loved their sound. I was also fond of the original Greddy RS. They're different now..

You're a grown man, so that wasn't that long ago. The Original Greddy was the Type S . The RS didn't hit markets until about '05. A company called NGR back in '11 re-released a Type S-styled BOV to pay homage to the original. That is one I still may pick up if/when I do another project on the BRZ I'm working on (3S-GTE Toyota Motor in a BRZ chassis. I'm not a Boxer-engine fan at all)

NGR - Paying Homage to the original GReddy Type S

They still bolt up to those who still had their DSM survive the early 2000s.

I now rock an older-school 47mm GReddy Type R BOV, and will NEVER sell it.

The BOV is a TurboXs. Old school for sure and REALLY loud from what I am told.

Very nice! Great sound, at least on that mitsu. My ex brother-in-law had an FD RX7 with the RS. Sounded sweet. Greddy aside, I still feel a change to HKS coming with my revamp!

The shodan is right the 18g is a really sweet turbo setup. I tuned a b16 that made 323 whp on 11lbs on one and street tuned a ls turbo with one on about 16lbs that would rip tires off in 3rd like nothing. They are a sweet setup if your not craving super large numbers.

Yeah, I remember those. The piston had to be constantly lubricated, and the spring coils would lose tension after a short period of time. Hopefully they've improved their designs since way back when.

They did...the D16z6 kit had the Greddy Type S BOV. My exGF had it in her '95 Civic EX coupe.

Big difference. Type R shotguns close to a TiAL, and needs a good amount of vacuum to work the 47mm valve. They also come with a stiffer spring, as an option, but I've been over 28 psi, and wouldn't need it any way. It's a lot like a much bigger sneeze from.a overweight goblin. They are still available here, but getting harder to obtain. I'm just glad I got mine when I.did a couple years ago. But you need to use the Greddy flange that comes with the valve. Can't use Mishimoto or other knock off flanges as they obstruct the valve opening
