i have the blue box and was thinking about upgrading to e-manage or hondata, but one of the advantages of e-manage over the blue box is that its suppossed to eliminte CEL's such as map sensor/barrel sensor for seeing boost. do you know what cel your throwing, or have you just been re-setting it everytime you have one???

care to enlighten me derric? you seem to know alot about e manage. I agree that hondata is better than e manage, but hondatas not the cats meow.
E manage is fully tunable, there just arent as many adjustments that can be made on the fuel and ignition tables as hondata or aem.its been a while since i researched it.

you said it! less adjustments = less power and less safe! that and no 3 step (launch control - full throttle shift - soft cut rev limiter)

just because its not as good as hondata doesnt mean its crap. All the extra options come at a pretty hefty price. Theres nothing wrong with it if you dont want to spend the money on hondata

im owned by CEL's. all 4 cylinders misfire(1 apiece), factory ignition malfunction, o2 sensor(not there), coil malfunction i think too. crane coil and ignition. runs fine though, really no problems driving just annoying flashing lights

I have it on my car and I'm running 16 psi for the last 2 years on e-manage. It works. Is it the best? By far no but it does what it's suppose to and with all the harness's and software it's real close to being a standalone.

i run the emanage on my d15b and it works great so far. Ididnt use the greddy pressure sensor but the emanage took out the map sensor problem with the stock map sensor. I have had no probs with it love it...

im not sure where anyone gets off saying that hondata is $1500-$2000...it can easily be had for under $450. yeah chipping and converting from obd-II can get a little pricier but even the cost of full throttle shifting/ 3-step rev limit/ full tunability is worth the extra cost. e-manage is little more than a glorified v-afc...

Sorry man but the emanage is not a glorified v-afc. does a v-afc do timing? have a 16*16 map? boost cut?Idle control over big injectors? READ BOOST WITH OUT CEL? DATALOG???????. I would be the first to say that it is not the best and there are better things out, but when people say **** comments about things they have no experience on
I had it for 2 years on 16 psi and never needed 3 step rev and what not. I did however get an aem ems because of the price and all the things it came with it, but I would never say nothing bad about e-manage. it worked for me for 2 years, **** my homeboy has an evo pushing 470 to the wheels with e-manage.
