Default Greddy Blue Box

Just curiuos. I had my turbo kit professionally installed but for some reason I can't find the blue box that they supposedly installed. I know this is a stupid question but I don't trust this shop that much though it was already too late. Anways. If the blue box wasn't hooked up then I should be getting a check engine light when there is positive boost right? Or can you skip the box install and everything will run decent but not great?

Thanks

If the blue box was not connected it would not idle very good at all. The 310cc injectors would dump too much fuel for a smooth idle. Have you looked under the kick panel where the ECU is to see if something it connected to it? I would not recommend driving the car until you make sure the box is connected to the ECU.

I have checked and nothing looks connected to it. Also this is the SOHC motor so i'm using stock injectors. I will give it a good look tommorow. I am wondering where my other 20 or so HP is. Had it on there for 6+mos now and now it's getting to me.

Where your 20 other HP is? HaHaHa...well you should ask the shop if they used the supplied "black" box or check valves.

134whp is all I got! I expect another 20. So i'm thinking something isn't there. My compression is fine. Haven't done a leakdown though. Also that was with old fuel filter+cap+rotor. Since then I've replaced them and noticed maybe 2hp difference I was thinking I should be about 150whp or so. Not much. But 134? WTF?!
