Default Is the turbo suppose to spin even at idle?

Mine seems to stop spinning after a minute of idling. Is the necessarily bad?

not bad. it will spin down almost the whole way.. with no load on the engine... it's actually a good thing.. so it doesn't burn itself out... but that's normal...

thanx. now, all i need to do is to find out the source of the whirling sound whenever I step on the gas. prob. some exhaust leak...
