Great place to get Eagle rods
Just thought Id share...
I bought some brand new Eagle LS rods for $325 including shipping from a shop in Illinois.
They sell them on Ebay for that price.
I won the auction yesterday and they were already shipped today and I was sent a tracking number. They should arrive Tuesday.

how much power can eagle rods support? Im planning on running upwards to as much as 17psi on race gas with my LS... Would eagle rods do the job?

I run 20 lbs on my ls\vtec that makes 400whp regularly. I was speaking to allan at eagle today and apparently one of jg's engines made 700+ on the same rods.

I agree with Dustin. While we were at SEMA we spoke to the Eagle rep and he was very informative. They will do the job easily. Im gonna use them in my car.

Now we need to address the actual strengths of the components (rods). In all our comparison testing, the three rods (Crower, Carillo, and Eagle) performed almost identically in compression, stress, and fatigue. We did note when testing the Eagle components, that the rod could be made better yet, if some material were added to the rod flank (the blending of the big end to the beam) and some material could also be removed in another area without sacrificing strength. Eagle has been most receptive to our suggestions and they are modifying the forging dies to produce the rods as we requested. Although the production rods are within design specs, we feel that if we can make it better from the get-go, that's the way to do it.

Alan at Eagle is the person who's building my engine 
He used to own a shop here in Memphis, but the cheapasses in Mempihs put the shop under I don't mind cause I still got a good friend and a badass engine builder guy!!
