Around 250 whp from a Greddy kit
I was just wondering if the greddy kit (for a D16Y8) can produce these numbers on a built bottom end with the proper tuning and fuel management. My real goal is 200, but i'm guessing that the engine's bottom end will have to be built up even for those numbers. Am i right? If any of you D16 guys that are making this kind of power from the greddy kit can u please give me some info, like how much boost and what fuel setup ur running. It will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

200 is around the safe limit for rhe D16 bottom end. There have been a few people who've boosted 12+psi on stock bottom end D16's, so with the right fuel yes they can take it, but I'd build it just for saftey's sake. For 250whp, I'd look into a T25 or larger though. For the kind of boost you'll need to squeeze out of a TD04 for 250whp, the effeciency of that turbo will be way past, and the heat generated would be astronomical. It's just not big enough a turbo to safley and reliabley deliver that much boost, much easier done for a T3 or T04E.

I would stick with the greddy manifold and just bolt on an 18g or a Super 16g as someone here already suggested. Both turbos are great for 250whp.. the Super 16g will boost a little quicker.
