Got turbo. Time for engine build!
Alright... Well my b16 couldn't handle my 10 psi
It was a stock b16a w/ b16a2 head running 10 psi. A ring blew so compression is crap and there is all sorts of smoke coming out the back end. I need to rebuild engine asap.
The Turbo Setup:
Precision SC-34
RC 440cc injectors
Walbro 255hp
UberData (tuned - Speedline)
Tial 38mm WG
TurboXS BOV and BoostController (9.5-10psi)
I am looking for somthing that isn't to insanly priced but can handle 10psi for along time. I need reliability. Any recommedendations?

how much power where you putting down?
you can rebuild stock if it's under 340whp or so
if you want bigger and you can just get rods and pistons and that'll do you 400+ HP with bigger injectors of course. Check out the sponser sections. They have great package deals

Well thats the thing... I don't need anymore than like 320whp. I don't know if I should do with expensive aftermarkets parts or just oem parts. Its just that I have put soooo much money into this car already, and its like I gotta keep buying part after part after part. Its crazy. I need to stop spending so much, but I like having a nice car that is pretty quick.

800 dollars for Wiseco Pistons and Eagle Rods. It's worth it over stock parts.

then you shouldn't boost your engine if you cant afford to spend <800 bucks to make it reliable....

Gee, your stock B16 ringlands blew at 10 psi. You want to continue to run 10 psi. What does this tell us? It tells us you need ATLEAST forged pistons, otherwise you're going to be tearing the motor down again with more busted ringlands, and it's suddenly going to get a lot more expensive than 800 dollars. Save up for 2 more weeks and buy the pistons and rods.

Well, I was thinking about turning the boost down to like 7 maybe. But I am in school now, so I am basically jobless at the time. That is the problem.
