got the ol' bitch tunned... now for the idol... (uberdata)
well i finally got my 550's and put them in yesterday and started tunning right away... this is my first tunning attempt and it actually went pritty good... the AFR's are really good and even decent in boost the car is pritty much ruffly tunned (i dont have any datalogging) my only problem is... the car doesnt seem to idol very well... and when i pull the clutch in and coast (like at a stop sign) the car shuts off... i have my fuel modifiers set at like 5 points higher then the "sugested" which seemed to help a little... and when the car is idoling it shows lean on the wideband (but the stock ecu does the same thing)... should i just try richening it up a little? im just looking for some tips guys.. thanks...

Sometimes you need to run big injectors rich in order to get a smooth idle. Just keep adding fuel until it feels good. somewhere between 13-14.3 should work well for you.
My 750's have a lean misfire with anything over 13.5 so it does like to idle rich. However, I have it tunned at 15.5 to save on gass. I dont mind the missfire. You can also try to advance the timming a few degrees and increase your idle RPM. I have my idle timming at 24* and the idle at 1,000 RPM. If I have the AF at 13.5 it idles like stock.

thanks for the responses guys... so for the idle pulling deep vaccum ( over 20 in/hg) you guys are seeing 15:1 on your wide band? ... ill tune that **** right up when i get home.. thanks guys...

im using uber 1.6 (dont ask me why haha) but where the hell is the fuel cut? (and im running the stock map)
If you are on stock map don't worry about the fuel cut. Just keep it where it is. If you are stalling and your AF is OK it is probably your idle speed...

don't worry too much about tunning vaccume.. you can't really cause much damage in light load.. really only tuning for MPG and throttle response. Start rich in boost and start maybe with 1*/psi retard or a step retard. Tune your AF in boost (say 11.5-12). I would not mess with timing much until you hit the dyno... just keep a standard retard.
