Default Goofy Idle!! Help

Well im going on 900miles with the JRSC on and no problems so far but one minor issue with the idle...not a big deal..just kind of annoying.. It seems to be idleing around 1700 with the small occassional backfire..i think they are backfires more or less a small burp from the exhaust. I thought there might be a vacumn leak..checked and double checked that..i even used a leak detector..i got nothing Sometimes ill be cruisin and it will really act like a vacumn leak like soon as u let off the gas it boggs down until u put ur foot on the gas again, nothing changes on my gauge (vac/boost) when that happens and if u turn the key off then back on it fixes that..but that only happened like 4 times within the 900miles...not sure if they are related...just looking for advice thanks guys

does your rpm surge from like 500 to 1700 rpm repeatedly? that would most likely be a vacumn leak or fast idle valve. Have you checked your IAC valve? Have you changed anything on your car since you added the blower?

I know it might sound basic, but have you checked your throttle cable, and idle screw on your throttle body?

uhm not yet ill go do that now but that doesnt explain the small backfires the happen during idle, like at a stop u can feel them, and the engine kinda vibrates when it happens

What is your setup? Do you have larger injectors? Larger injectors like to idle a little rich. My car has lean misfires (like what you are having) @ 14.7AFR with 750cc injetors. It seems to like to idle around 13.7AFR. Also, larger injectors need a little higher idle say 1K RPM.
