GT28rs and its internal wg
For those running this turbo w/ the internal wg, do you feel the need to upgrade to an external wg, and if so, how much psi are you running?
I'm not sure what turbo manifold to get because I'm not sure if I would want to run an internal or external wg. I know the benefit and detriment of both, but if you're only aiming for ~280whp on the GT28rs, is an external necessary?

Re: GT28rs and its internal wg (PIC Performance)
no boost controller, just the spring in the wastegate actuator.
we made the power with 14psi, standard wastegate spring from garrett as far as i know.
the power is not the best for the boost level but the tune was very conservative.

Re: GT28rs and its internal wg (mrx)
Thats pretty good. There is a 240SX with a SR20DET with the GT28RS, AEM Tuned thats making around 325 WHP. Then there is a guy making around 340 WHP on a SR20DET with the GT28RS.
