No, it's not the black thing, it's located where the oil filter goes, and you just screw the oil filter to the oil cooler. Paul

It might to late for this but I don't think that this "vince" guy was disrespectful or anything to any of you, I don't know him or any of the other guys, just like things to be fair. My .02 cents.

I don't know if the other products filter the oil or not but it is only logical that contaminated oil will at least wear engine parts if not damage them.

Any of you have used a magnetic oil pan screw? I haven't but have heard a lot of people that have and they all say of the nasty stuff it collects.

Com'on its probably microscopic debri but I wouldn't want it in the turbo center section anyway.

I guess i'm a little late on this one, but Vince is right. ALL the oil from the pump IS filtered on a b block. Some filter adaptors feed off of the feed going INTO the filter, rather than OUT OF the filter. There is a difference and don't think that little screen on the pickup is going to stop everything that can do damage to bearings! It seems everyone is really quick to bash golden eagle now days. Give them a break, the DO know their ****...

That wasnt the point. The point was he said you could get"rocker damage or turbo damage" from using another product. Anyways, its over, everyone has their opinion and they are entitled to it, but i think everyone was just trying to keep mis-information from spreading.

[QUOTE][The guy gets ******* bashed on here all the time and 99% of the time it`s because some ******* newbie doesn`t know what they are doing. I`d feel the same way if I was him. I`m sure it gets pretty old. Keep your head up, Vince. Do you see the other manufacturers participating in these forums? No.

That was the point. If you use another type where unfiltered oil goes to your turbo and head then you could get "rocker arm or turbo damage". Maybe you don't understand how metal in oil causes damage or something...

Actually a few magnets epoxied to the sides of the oil pan would have better results. Most of the metalic fragments will actually float on thop of the oil where the plug style magnets aren't really strong enough to reach, but using the ones in the pan would mean having to pull the pan everytime to check them. I would use both if IMO.

We do not have an HT price on our products. Please find a local shop that may be interested in carrying our product line and see what kind of deal they will give you. Thanks.

What about this?:

We just want to be able to offer these products to you guys at a great price without a GB. There will be a promotional price structure that will be posted by next week.

I will post up the H/T prices later!

I just installed the oil filter adapter on my d16a6 today. Nice product! I like that freshly-filtered oil is going to my turbo

I bought one of these when i took my block to GE to get sleeved last saturday. This thing kicks ***.. not only do you get freshly filtered oil, just the simplicity of not having to have a cluster of T's on the back of the block off this little tiny hole. I would also think its a all around better supply of oil and its clean. To bad i already sold the one i have , but I WILL be buying another when i go up to pickup my block! Infact, most of my friends want me to pick one up, so I will be picking up about 6 of em.

Very Cool Product! Great company to deal with!
