Default going to buy a used sleeved block.

im going to look at a sleeved block for sale. its a gsr sleeved by GE 85mm. bare block. hasnt been used since sleeving. just curious on what are some things i should look for before buying it. i want to make sure im spending my $ on something worth it.

make sure the main caps are there
make sure the sleeves haven't sank
and look at the overall condition of the block.

be carefull with used parts.......... (talking from TONS of experience)

Doesnt mean the seller is shady, just.......yea... becareful.

Yeah how much boost you planning on throwing at it???
i plan to do at least 20 psi. i dont want to go overboard, just want it to last.

sleeves look ok from pics. main caps are not there. its basically bare. it hasnt been touched after it came back from GE. but outside of motor doenst make it look like it was cleaned very well, is every motor ge does clean when it comes back?

You can't tell if sleeves look ok from the pictures. I mean GEM only recommends an 85mm bore. If you have problems you might have 0.05mm room to bore.
