Getting started
Once an all-motor man, now turning to turbo… how does one get started?
I’ve resolved to not buying a thing until I know all, or most there is to know about turbos.
…but need help finding good unbiased information on turbos, kits, quality parts, concepts, etc.
It’s for an Integra Type-R…
The car MUST be daily drivable, equivalent to factory turbo reliability. I assume low boost, 4-6psi, and able to withstand high heat. (100 degree Houston summers)
Is it possible to have a setup that needs no more attention than frequent oil changes?
-This is what I’m after. -Any help, resources etc. you can suggest would be appreciated.
Thanks

the best thing to do is hang around this board and collect as much credible information as possible. try searching topics also. if you come up with some specific questions, then just ask on here. as for your kit for only 4-6 psi just get a greddy kit and a thicker headgasket because of your high compression. you could go with hondata but a little bigger injectors and a 12:1 fmu should be fine with 4-6 psi

no if you use bigger injectors you can tune (somewhat) with the vafc and wideband
