Default Boosting R..

alright.im new to this forum and im not a big fan of forced induction..but im thinkin of just dropping my all motor setup and going boost... i planning on pickin up a kit... but what kinda kit would be perfect for my R? and what kind of strains will it have on my motor? will it kill my reliability? im thinkin of keeping stock internals.. so im pretty sure i should stay at low boost.... never really dealt with turbo.. im still researching more bout it
someone enlighten me here

There are so many kits out there. To name a few ...

Full Race
MaxRev
RevHard
Greddy
FMax
Drag
Extreme Boost

It all depends on how much power you want to make, how much you want to spend, etc. I would definitely look into Hondata or AEM's EMS before you buy a turbo kit.

I have seen people run a good amount of boost on ITR bottum ends. Neither of them had ANY tuning so they ended up rebuilding. I'm having someone tune my Hondata because I have never tuned with Hondata. The s100 is cheaper but with the s200 you have the option (with extra money) to datalog and tune yourself. The s200 now has autotune capabilities but that's not a replacement for a good tuner.

trust me man , the compression and boost go good together. the car feels great out of boost becuase the comprssion and you dont need high boost to make great numbers, ill be posting my number on Sun after the dyno

Im glad we have steered alot of these R people over to the dark side I have seen alot of R turbo posts and more people respecting thme lately. . . its about time
