Search button does not work. Ok, I've been doing some intence reasearch on which Turbo Kit to get. THERE ARE SOME MUCH KITS OUT THERE ITS DRIVING ME INSANE!!! Ok, I think I've finally picked my canidate. Its either the PEAKBOOST or FULLRACE but they look the same to me, but I like the PEAKBOOST though. PLEASE DON"T flame me!!! The only thing is, All these other kits come with FMU, BOOST RETARD, etc...etc... DO I really need that with the PEAKBOOST? I plan on getting the HOnDatA? Im going to run it on a stock b16a. Im looking at around 220-240whp. Let me know your advice, THANKS!!!! Woudl a BOOST control be wise to get also and what about a Turbo Timer?
i'll save you, either one of those kits would be your best bet. hondata will control all your fuel and ignition needs (you will need bigger injectors though). there are other options out there (read cheaper) like neptune and such, but i like the hondata setup.
either peakboost or full race make excellent turbo kits......you wont be disappointed with either of them.
you DON'T want a FMU or boost timing retard thing with a setup like that. since you plan to use hondata that should take care of your fuel and timing needs. just make sure you have the right size fuel injectors and fuel pump. and make sure you have a good tuner who is familiar with tuning a setup like that.
a boost controller is a good idea if you want to turn up the boost later on down the road. but for the moment you can just run the boost off whatever spring pressure that comes with the wastegate. i suggest you start off it a 7-8psi spring and have it tuned there on your stock B16 block.
turbo timer.......sure its good to have and will help save your turbo seals in the long run.....

garage kwai in Glendale heights, or Area 1. Kwai is like the best shop around the chicago area due to there long time tuning of hondas. Call and ask for Ben, he's the owner, usually costs about $100 per hour. anyother questions about the kit or anything let me know. i live 20 minutes from the city and have been starting to try and give lots of advice and as much help to people who live by me. let me know
