Getting ready for final tuning this saturday what kinda number should i expect?
Well im getting ready for final tuning this saturday on 18psi, we tuned last weekend on 8.7psi but i broke the alternator belt and we had to call it a day. Tune is good enough to drive and boost on but its still pretty rich. I think my tuner makes it pretty rich and the timing is conservative cause im pretty sure i should be making more power than I am, in 4th and 5th gear it real rich like in the 11-10 range or more and in boost its usually about 11.5-10 as well, does this seem a bit rich? It idles like stock but afrs at idle are 12.5-13, driving i usually never see <13 under throttle, reading off a plx wideband. Car made 200whp/170tq on a dynojet at 8.7psi, i was thinking at this boost level i should be seeing something like 250-270whp?
Only reason im asking is becuase i want to know what i SHOULD make with this setup so when we actually tune if numbers are lower than projected I can ask my tuner whats up with afr and timing cause i should be making more....
Setup:
Drag t3/t04e turbo, 57 trim .63 on the exh housing
bigass intercooler
revhard manifold
tial 35mm gate
3" downpipe (it goes to a 2.5"->3" hiflo cat becuase i used that on my old setup so there is a slight bottleneck at the cat but I wouldnt think it would have that much of an effect as the 2.5" section is only 2" long and it immediatly goes back out to 3" all the way back)

Omni power Springs/retainers
00 CTR cams
GSR Tranny
Wiseco 9:1
Crower Rods
I want like 350-400whp on 18psi but making on 200whp on 8.7psi im kinda dissapointed/confused, i see turbo gsr's makin 300+whp easily.... only thing i can think of is the downpipe->cat transition is holding me back but i wouldnt think i would like 70whp just cause of a 2" long section of bottleneck

any new info on this? I was pushing 250hp on .5bar on my gsr. About to put some rods and pistons in with a fresh bore and up the boost. wondering what you made.

yeah those numbers seem pretty low. what kind of dyno are you on? i would shoot for 11.5-12 afr under boost. i dont think that the restriction at the cat would hold you back that much. what size charce pipes are you running?
