I have been trying to find out where I can get compressor maps for various Garret turbochargers, anyone know where I can go?

 

http://www.turboneticsinc.com/comp_maps/fig1.html. Its turbonetics website, but turbonetics uses garret compressor wheels when they construct their turbos.

 

So these maps would apply in the same way to any garret turbos? Im a little confused, what would be the equivalent of the gt25 or gt30 series turbos? They only seem to have T3, T4, T3/T4 turbos, and I was under the impression that the gt's were a different size, etc.? (Im kinda lost now.)

 

The GT series arent pictured because turbonetics doesnt use the GT series wheels yet in their turbo applications. Precision turbo does use the GT series wheels, so if you are looking for a cheaper alternative to the Garret GT series GT30, GT35, etc then go with the standard bearing precision turbos that have the GT wheels in them. BTW, I havent seen any solid compressor maps for the GT wheels yet. If you search under a post by vapor trail a few months back he had the rough GT30 and GT35 compressor maps from Garret.

So GT series is different then? That is basically what I was looking to get maps for.

 

Yes, the GT series is going to be hard to find a compressor map for. If you ask the right people on this site, someone probably has a good copy of it.

Bump again. Really interested in maps for gt25, gt28, gt30. If anyone can help, I would much appreciate it.

That was simple, thank you. I only had found a Garret site that was more of a corporate page with no real tech info.

 

Actually, unless Im missing something, the catalog does not show maps for gt25 and gt28. hmm, back to the drawing board.

 

I'm looking for GT30 compressor maps as well.
