Default b18c1 2.0 vs. b20/vtec 2.0

Hey im trying to decide on which block to go with. I was thinking about going with the b20/vtec but i also heard that the b18c1 was better with boost. Enither way im going to run with one of them and im just trying to deicde on which one to run with. can i get some info please. Most likly im going to have IB build me one.

how much power you looking to have? how much money you looking to spend. you have to include a little more details. if you gonna use a stock block i'd go with the gsr - tried and true. if your gonna build it i'd still go with the gsr. i myself have an almost 2.0L block (84mm bore) and that thing puts out plenty of TQ, actually to much. if you include some more info about your setup (what size turbo, what boost levels,ect.) maybe someone can better answer you

I would also go with the b18c block. If your gonna sleeve, get the b18c and overbore.

I was shooting for about 375Hp and a good amount of TQ. its going to be a built block with sleeves and the whole nice and also the head going to be built. The turbo i was looking to use was a GT30 turbo dual ball bearing with water jackets with a full race equal length manifold. 9.1:1 compression, venom intake manifold, RC 720cc injectors, AEM EMS, upgrade fuel pump. I could go on and on about it. I just want something that i can run with on the streets and turn it loose on the track.
