Default Get my car back today. How long of a break in required?

Well finally after 3 and 1/2 months I get my car back this afternoon. I have heard the break in on JE pistons and eagle rods with head work is only like 300-500 miles, that is what two shops have told me. Others say 1000 miles, etc. ALl you turbo pro's, what do you think??

600-1000 miles is the usual for rods and pistons. my old turbo needed 1000 miles after getting a rebuild.

That was a sweet link, thanks. I was only planning on breaking it in for 300-500 miles anyways just wanted more opinions to reconfirm. I am surrounded by friends who think they know it all. Giving me **** for only breaking it in that long...
