Default Gauge questions

Hey i just had two questions about gauges. First, with an air/fuel gauge do you need a wideband/ does it hook up to the o2 sensor? and second, does anyone know if the Autometer carbon fiber gauges have a light in them?

You need a wideband. The cheap A/F gauges don't actually tell you anything.

Yes, all autometer gauges have backlight.

the cheap autometer gauge is a light show.

the autometer is only light by the led, you can't use a wideband oxygen sensor with the autometer gauge because its designed to be used with a narrow band o2 sensor

Actually you can . PLX makes a controller conversion kit for it. but i think you need the whole wideband set up for it
