If you want the guages to luminate when you turn the factory lights on, run the light power wires for each guage to something like the hazard switch. I'm at work so I can't tell you exactly which color wire it is. For the air/fuel guage you can run that to the cig lighter although I've had wierd occurences of that particular guage losing all power when I'd push in the lighter, until it popped out. Instead, you could tap the 12v ignition under the steering column which would be one of the same wires you tap a turbo timer too. Good luck.

for ignition you need to tap on to the black/yellow on your ignition harness. Its a big 10 guage wire running up your steering column. for parking lights you need to find a red/black pretty much any where behind the das (at dimmer switch). and for air/fuel youll need to go to autometer.com and look up the color. i think you need to connect your purple wire to a white/some color at the computer. just go to that site and they can tell you
