if you dont have a v band, it ie beneficial to run one on the gate to manifold at the very least. if it dies leak there you will be down on boost, or it will lag more than it needs to.
you dont need one on the dump, but if there is anything in the way, it may get a little jet of hot air.
make sure it is clear all the way around.
