Well Garrett is quality, turbonetics are not. I am sure that you know that already. The Garrett and turbonetics have different letters to represent trim levels, ex. you are looking for a t3/t4oe...it know that turbonetics only uses like P, O, S trim levels. Other than that i just generally tend to stay clear from anything for that company, turbo, waste or bov. Just my personal opinion though.

Oh, also turbonetics and garret differ with the compressor and exhaust blades...they are different shapes, flow patterns. The turbonetics use garret compressor and exhaust housing i believe...although i have heard that they have started getting them made for themselves now.

Also turbonetics is notorious for using 270 degree thrust bearings while Garrett mainly uses 360 degree. Ive used Turbonetics turbos in the past and havent had any problems with them though.

Some people seem to have good luck, while others just get screwed. I dunno after two of my friends bought fmax kits and both turbonetics turbos were bad brand new i just dont want to give any money to a company like that. Fmax warrentied the turbos, but still it was the fact that they had to wait like another two months before they got the replacement turbos. Bullpoo poo if you ask me.
