t3/t60-1 vs t3/t61
Well whats the difference between these 2 turbo's? I was looking at the sc61 an still might get one, but i came across these 2 an would possibly like to get something that makes the power of a sc61 or slightly a bit less with a bit less lag then a sc61. I want this turbo to go on my gsr an im looking for a .63AR...

Re: t3/t60-1 vs t3/t61 (NO TORQ)
The T3/T61 is a cheaper alternative to the SC61. It has the same GT35R wheel that the SC61 has. However the T61 comes standard with a T04S compressor housing, and 270 degree thrust bearing (with 360* optional). For the SC61 the T04E compressor housing is standard while the T04S is optional. Also for the SC61 the 360 thrust bearing is standard. Now as far as the 60-1 goes, well it's old school technology. You would have to push the 60-1 harder to make the same amount of power as the T61 or SC61 which have the more efficient GT wheel.

Seems like the t3/t61 is a bit laggier then compared to the sc61. Its a bit bigger with the s cover if im correct, but it doesnt have have 360 bearings which comes standard in sc61, but is about 2 hundred cheaper then sc61i beleive.
