Default Garrett turbo operating oil pressure

i spoke to Diesel Components and asked about the max pressure that the turbo could see without blowing out the seals. they couldnt give me a specific number but i said our motors can generate 80psi of oil pressure and he said no problem. is it safe to run oil to the turbo without a restrictor at all or what? or do people blow out their seals from too restrictive return lines?

also if u blow out your seals ... is that expensive?
