ok, say i want to move the inlet side, what do i do?i get really confused trying to understand things (meningitus when i was younger) jst undo the bolts at the back of the inlet and hit it with a hammer till it turns?what about the middle section?cheers for the fast reply
loosen the bolts and turn, thats it. you are worrying too much.
and if the hosuings are stuck, use a rubber mallet not a hammer or put something in the compressor outlet (like a screwdriver handle) to get leverage.

If the turbo is new, you should be able to just loosen the nuts and clock the housing by hand (at least in my experience). If the housing is stuck/reluctant to move, use a rubber mallet (as was suggested above).
