garrett compressor wheel/ housing interchange ?
I had 2 turbos. #1 was a volvo garrett .42/.48 T3 and the other is a SVO .60/.63 T3. The turbine wheels looked the same and the turbine housings interchanged perfectly.
My problem is that I think a 60-trim .60A/R compressor is too much for my SOHC's needs ( 13psi MAX with low compression ).
I was wondering if anyone knows if I can just buy a different compressor housing that will better suit my needs. Something like a .50 AR compressor housing or something. IF my turbine wheels/housings are interchangable between the .42/.48 T3 and the .60/.63 T3, then older 300ZX's compressor housing should fit right on to my SVO turbo right ? Just kinda shooting in the dark...
