Do you have dual valve springs? If so, I do too and my GSR does the same ticking noise. I asked my mechanic about it and he said was just the stiffer valvesprings bringing the valves up alot faster and harder than the stock ones, therfore causing the "tick" sound. It never did it before i got them in it either. Good luck tho bro.

I doubt the spiral locks are bad, i ran the **** out of mine for 2 years and have at least a dozen friends that has the same set up on the arias pistons with zero issues on the spiral locks, don't worry.
