duh ****
why do you guys think that I just slapped a 7k turbo setup on my 140k mile prelude and thought oh its done........ read the ******* thread

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by monicle &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">dude turbo charging a car isnt a guessing game where you throw **** togethere and then try to figure out if its going to work. What exactly do you think youre going to "work out" of this setup? are you taking about tuning? I would rather tune on a healthy motor cause otherwise youre going to need to retune it after you swap anyways. Usually the only mechanical things you would need to "work out" would be fitment issues and things like that. You come in here acting like a jackass and a know it all but youre asking everyone in here for an answer to a question. Nobody here is going to be able to tell you exaclty what happened and why because nobody here is going to tear down your motor and look for you.

Somebody lock this gay *** thread already </TD></TR></TABLE>

omg, my turbo setup is creeping. do I want it to creep on a benson motor? no, why the **** do you guys think that I'm done with my setup. I come in here asking a simple question " who has had a similar symptom" what do I get, a bunch of ******* tard's saying oh yeah I blew my motor like that der... who even said my motor was blown. I'm acting like an ******* because I can't stand the replies I'm getting. But forget it, if you want you can lock the thread because it got jacked to **** a long time ago.

I second that... e-trouble shooting an oil leak is fruitless, go outside and look at it, fix the seal, top off the oil, check the plugs for oil and check your compression and drive on.

A better question might be is why was he doing 4th gear pulls if he knew he had creeping issues?

******* a, holly **** I asked a simple question if you cannot answer it then shut the **** up. Seriously. I don't know if it's the crank seal for sure, I work for Microsoft and anyone should know that job is extremely demanding. Demanding job + swing shift = no free time.

one dude comes in says it's the crank seal everyone jumps on the band wagon oh yeah that's what it's gotta be. I was just looking for input then everyone starts blasting me about oh your a stupid idiot for doing this and that. My thread got jacked. Lock it so I can stop defending myself

Because it was fun

and don't come back saying oh you got what you deserved and blah blah blah ******* duh **** I got what I deserved, was it worth it? yes it was worth it. Do I want to fix the problem? yes, do I have any free time? no Why don't I pay somebody else to do it? because building it is half the fun and you get more koodos from other turbo honda builders.

Now shut the **** up about jacking my thread and if you cannot answer my question then don't post. damn that's pretty difficult

This is more than an oil leak. Oil blasted out of the plastic shroud next to the timing cover, I don't know how many seals are back there. I dropped about 5 quarts of oil in less than 3 minutes. I was just asking if anyone else had had a similar problem and what it turned out to be so I could possibly save time when I do get some time to work on my car

you seem to enjoy throwing arround the aparent fact that cash isnt much of an issue to you. how about you have it towed to a shop and have them figure it out. you said yourself you dont have the time to look for yourself and noone on the board will be able to give you a concrete answer as to what happened without actually seeing your setup. This seems like a good idea to me. Youre wasting your time here. Several people have given you several good indications of what it could be. what else do you want?

I blew my last motor on a fourth gear pull.. But then again, that was spinning the tires at 120mph, until the boost spiked to 35psi... Sat on the rev limiter at 35psi for about three seconds, and then she was gone... That was the best damned 3 seconds of my life though!!!

Seems like if you had anything resembling reflexes, you could have saved your motor. If I saw something like that I woulda backed off it in a hurry

Ok i just wasted time reading this whole thread. First if you had it street tuned and new it was boost spiking, why were you doing 4th gear pulls after the fact. The spiking wasnt going to magicly fix itself with you driving it more. Second lower the temper man. There are alot of n00b's that spout off and bandwagon, but you presented your problem and asked for help. This is what you get. It sounds like you have an idea where the oil is coming from. Take the time and figure it out. You are not going to get the answer from people that havent seen the problem first hand on your car. Pull the plugs and have a look, that only takes five minutes and will tell you alot. Clean the oil and pull the cover. See if you find a popped out seal, which would be the first thing i would check. Replace seal fill with oil and fire it up. More then likely though if you ran it out of oil your going to have bearing problems. Oh and btw the tuning you had done is pretty much useless if your going to be building a motor. It will need a completely different tune.
This is my .02 take it how you want.
