well if not the tune then next guess is yours that you were correct and it sounds like maybe you had a bad piston ring and built up enough blow by to break the crank seal. Is the oil leaking from the seal where it meats the oil pan. Unless you have the money realdy for a new motor you might just want to drop the oil pan and take a look. might be able to fix with just a gasket and some hondabond for reassurance. Just hope thats the turbo didn't get starved for oil whe the pressure dropped. did you run the car long after the leak? Do you have a digi cam to take a few quick shots of where it's leaking.

i told u once man...excessive crankcase pressure will pop out a seal, now accoding to one of your posts cylinder 2 had lower compression then the rest... motor shouldnt have been boosted anyway, u lost all your oil cause the ****** crank seal came out, your oil light came on cause u have no ******* oil...what else do u need to know...why did it happen...cause of the tune...opps i mean crankcase pressure..

Where does it say your motor is blown?

So is your only question 'Why did the crank seal come out?'

If so, I'd say probably just worn from wear, just replace it and fill her up with oil (lol, obviously) and you should be good to go.

Another possibility is that black box on the back of the block is supposed to relieve positive pressure from the bottom end. Pull it out and see if it isnt clogged.

Once again people, nowhere in his post does he say his motor is blown.

I'm going to buy a comp tester tommorow night and I'm trying to get as much usefull input as I can, I just have the ability to differentiate between shitty input and helpfull input. Is'nt that what this ******* forum is about, getting usefull help.

EDIT: oh yeah you ******* bitch my car did'nt get the way it is by sitting on my *** all day in front of a computer **** tard. I work on my car more than you can possibly imagine so go **** your self

yes I understand A/F 11 parts air : to 1 part fuel...I had compression on my mind because Im wondering why the **** he hasnt checked the crank seal and why he didnt investigate the 165 compression before he boosted it in the first place.

and I totaly agree with your last statement.

Hey, my H22 setup is still in perfect condition, yours isn't so don't talk to me about 'working on your car.' I had the foresight to do it the right way the first time

All I'm saying is, if you're asking for help, you shouldn't criticize the responses of people who are taking time to try and help out. Regardless of what you consider the worth of their comments are

c61lude, you might wanna take a step back and ignore this cause I'm about to vent.

Dude, than what the f--k is the point of this thread then? Seriously, you posted where the oil is coming from, so what, if your crank seal is popped out and leaking replace it. I dont know what you want to hear, nor what the point is of this thread anymore

Cliff notes (what I'm getting) - You drove your car. You drove home. Your oil light comes on. You car's leaking oil. Its coming from the the timing belt side.

So why dont you go do some R&D (aka working on removing stuff), and report back. Cause right now this thread is pretty useless.

This thread <--------worst thread in FI I've seen in a long time (coming in right below the guy that drove for 50miles with his oil light on and wondered why he spun a bearing).

Platinum engines. Hmm... I don't know about those. I just dropped 10k on my turbo kit and I was looking to buy this motor to put it on

The guy said the compression was low on two of the cylinders but I don't care. What do you guys think? is it a good buy?

Why drop all that cash on a turbo kit and fake on the motor? I don't get it. You knew the outcome, now I suggest you deal with it.

Yeah uuuh, i still dont understand this 4th gear pull thing, ive been pulling 3th 4th and 5th on a 122000 mile f22b1 since ive been boosted and if i had a 6th it would pull that too. If more people rerouted pcv to work under boost we would be bored here at H-T. (running uberdata street tuned by me)

dude turbo charging a car isnt a guessing game where you throw **** togethere and then try to figure out if its going to work. What exactly do you think youre going to "work out" of this setup? are you taking about tuning? I would rather tune on a healthy motor cause otherwise youre going to need to retune it after you swap anyways. Usually the only mechanical things you would need to "work out" would be fitment issues and things like that. You come in here acting like a jackass and a know it all but youre asking everyone in here for an answer to a question. Nobody here is going to be able to tell you exaclty what happened and why because nobody here is going to tear down your motor and look for you.

Somebody lock this gay *** thread already
